Senior Biology Major, Hispanic Studies Concentrator on the Pre-Medical Track at Columbia University. I am a hard working Dean's List Honors Student with a 3.7 GPA. I will be attending the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in the Fall of 2013.
Experience
-I have been tutoring since I was a Freshman in High School, and have tutored students as young as 9 to as old as 45 including children with learning/ behavioral disabilities. ACT: 99th percentile in all subsections APs: I earned six 5's on the AP tests and have been honored by the College Board. I love tutoring because I love forming bonds with the students that I help to achieve their goals and beyond. As a former athlete, I have adapted the idea that "practice makes perfect" and motivate my students to be the best they can be. When hired, I am entirely dedicated to the success of my students and adapt my strategies to each students' personal learning styles.
