Education

I graduated from Binghamton University with my Bachelors in Psychology. I graduated from Long Island University with my Masters in Special Education. I specialize in helping students pass the SHSAT, SAT, and teacher certification exams (CST, ALST, EAS, edTPA). My strength is in reading and writing, as well as test prep. I am a product of the system and I know the tools students need to pass - especially if they are unprepared and unfamiliar with the content!

Experience

I am currently a Special Education teacher in Sunset Park. I have experience working with students with all kinds of learning disabilities - autism, ADD, emotional issues, etc. I went through rigorous training as a NYC teaching fellow after having completed a very vigorous and competitive application/interview process. My SAT composite score was a 2090, with slightly higher reading and writing scores.
