Experience

Math SAT: 770; Reading SAT: 660; Writing SAT: 680 ACT: 31 AP Calculus AB: 5; AP Calculus BC: 5; AP English Language: 5; AP Comparative Government: 5; AP Psychology: 4; AP Biology: 4 I'm currently a Resident Assistant at NYU Weinstein Hall. I work with freshmen students to help acquaint them to college by planning events, coordinating floor activities, and linking them together with other freshmen around the campus. I love working with students, both college and high school, as it gives me a chance to share my experiences with them, and of course learn about the student's experiences. I've tutored Algebra 2 this past summer with great success. I constantly think of new, cutting edge ways of improving student's knowledge retention with hands-on activities and incorporation of technology like the iPad. I create my own problems with special emphasis on word problems and standardized test-taking problems to help prepare them for the SAT, ACT, and AP. As well, I'm fluent in Spanish.
