My name is Juliet Clemens, and I am a student at New York University. My major is World Literature, and I plan to pursue a career in secondary English education once I complete my undergraduate studies. I am currently maintaining a GPA of 3.8 and am expected to graduate in 2014.
Experience
I volunteered over the summer as an SAT Verbal Coach with Brooklyn Let’s Get Ready, a program that provides free SAT preparation to low-income high school students. I am responsible for developing weekly lesson plans, grading homework and teaching students useful strategies to achieve higher scores on their exams. I have scored 4s on both the AP European History and AP English Language exams. I scored a 5 on the Japanese language exam.
