Home tutor for students between the ages of 5-18. I have a lot of experience as a tutor in an informal level and I feel like I am very qualified to be a tutor for this company. Recently, I was accepted into the program Teach for America, however, due to certain personal preferences I decided not to take the opportunity. Relevant classes: Climate Change, Global Environmental Politics, Environmental Science, International Politics of the Middle East, Screenplay Writing, Contemporary America Literature, English Novel: 19th Century Victorian Literature, Short Story Writing, etc. I was employed as a Resident Assistant for New York University. In this job I was in charge of 65 students on my floor and also +1000 students in the entire building. In a rotation, I am in charge of the entire building as a first response capacity. I was also involved in taking students to the hospital and staying with them in a guardianship capacity. Furthermore, I and my co-workers were also posed with the task of putting on programs with educational components such as discussion of current events, racial/religious identity, and etc.
