4th yr medical student. I graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College in May 2011 with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and Philosophy.
Experience
Since Mount Holyoke is a liberal arts institution, I have taken classes ranging from Organic Chemistry to Art History. I am capable of tutoring many subjects. Some subjects I would love to tutor include Math, Science, English Literature, ESL and TOEFL, SAT I and II, ACT. I have prior tutoring experience since I tutored Introductory Chemistry, Calculus and Ecology during my time at Mount Holyoke. As a Peer-Led Undergraduate Mentor (PLUMS) for Ecology, I worked with fellow mentors, students and faculty to develop interactive workshops and worksheets to reinforce class content. I mentored students thrice a week and held extra sessions before midterm and final exams ensure students’ mastery of class material through active learning in the form of quizzes and workshops. I am confident I will make a great tutor and look forward to working with you!
