Education
I am a recent graduate from UConn with a BA in Actuarial Science (Mathematics). I studied Political Science during my freshman year at NYU. I have been tutoring Mathematics since high school, and can comfortably work with a variety of subjects. I can tutor for both the SATs and SAT IIs as well as the Actuarial Exam P/1. I also tutored Spanish in high school and feel comfortable tutoring Spanish levels I, II, and III. I enjoy tutoring because I believe that anyone can succeed in academics... but many people simply do not know how to study efficiently. I believe that my tutoring does not simply lend itself as a tool to pass a single course or exam, but will help students to develop better study skills for the future.
Experience
I have studied probability and statistics extensively, which requires particularly strong calculus skills. I have taken Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Mathematical Statistics, Actuarial Mathematics, Actuarial Statistics, Loss Models, Calculus (through Multivariable), Financial Mathematics, Probability, Corporate Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, and many others.
