I'm available to tutor beginner-intermediate English language students who want to develop their English comprehension and fluency by practicing their conversational skills. Also, advanced level students would greatly benefit from my coaching, as English is my native language and so I can easily teach all slang, nuances and idioms that are confusing to non-native English speakers. I have participated in a few Intercambios while studying abroad in Madrid, Spain last spring (an Intercambio is a cross-cultural exchange through language education), and my tutoring style follows this model in terms of the relaxed setting and intensive focus on oral communication - speaking is the hardest part for a lot of students (at least it is for me with Spanish!). Also, I tutored elementary students throughout high school, so I have a background with kids as well. In terms of relevant courses, I've taken Spanish courses up to the Advanced-Intermediate level at NYU. I've had a lot of professional intern experience in a variety of fields, including sales, PR, and fundraising, and I love interacting with people from all different backgrounds! I really enjoy language and I would love to help someone improve their speaking skills. I'm really easy going and patient, so if you struggle with the language, no worries, we'll work towards your goals at whatever pace you feel comfortable with :)
