Experience
I have been teaching SAT classes for a socially responsible test prep company since 2008 for all subjects and all score levels. My educational philosophy regarding the SAT is simple: combine like problems, learn the underlying rules of the problems, and solve with efficient ease. The SAT is just a big old tricky formula in disguise - even the essay! Here are what some students had to say about my teaching: "Emily is very intelligent -She works fast and explains well. -She gives good tips for doing well on the SAT. -She interacts well with her students. -She leaves good comments on the essays I write." "Emily explains thoroughly, is very friendly and creates a comfortable learning environment." "Something great about Emily is that she really tries to get her students to understand and remember the material. She goes out of her way to create review sheets for her students." Scores SAT 740 (Math) 760 (V) 690 (W) 11/12 (essay) GRE - the new August 2011 version 166 (Math - Equivalent to 800 on old scale) 154 (V - Equivalent to 640 on old scale) 5.5 (Writing - 94%ile)
