I'm Sarah, a tutor living in Chicago, Illinois. I'm a graduate of the University of Minnesota where I was a French major.I teach French 1-4, and AP French Language and Culture.I have loved the French language for as long as I can remember. When I was a college student, the French language wasn't the only thing I learned. I also learned about French history, art, and culture. I even had the chance to visit France three times! During a trip in Paris, I obtained a culinary credential at Le Cordon Bleu, a hospitality education institution. In order to get that degree, I was required to take lessons nine hours per day, six days per week. It was a trial at times, but that really strengthened my passion for everything French-related.Any form of education is vital for the mind because exercising the brain is the road to success.My time at Le Cordon Bleu paid off because I was able to use my cooking skills to teach a culinary class to at-risk kids in the inner city.When I am not studying French or teaching it, I like to cook, exercise, and spend time with my friends and family members.
