As a New York City prep school student, I was able to distinguish myself with exceptional test scores. Thanks to my studying skills, I earned a 2200 on the SATs, an 800 on the math level 2 subject test, and college credit for AP Calculus and AP U.S. government, I gained acceptance to a highly selective liberal arts college. With a degree in economics, I have continued to develop strong writing and mathematical abilities. Throughout high school and college, I have informally tutored my classmates, which has helped me understand the extent to which people learn in different ways. Additionally, I have six years experience as a summer camp counselor, where I developed an ability to make complex concepts understandable for students of any age.
