Education

I'm a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. My elective focus was in computer science including real-time systems, compiler design and computer languages.

Experience

I have enjoyed tutoring students of all ages. I've taught Java to college and high school age individuals. My Excel teaching has also included business professionals and senior citizens. I've used Java professionally since its introduction in 1996 by Sun Microsystems. I tutor for two reasons. First, I try very hard to "pay it forward". That is to say, in recognition of all of those who helped me in my academic and professional life, I strive to aid new students on their journey to success. Second, I really take great pleasure in doing so.
