I received my B.A. in both the History of Art and in Anthropology at Cornell University, and completed my M.A. at Rutgers University. As an art history graduate, you can be sure I have plenty of experience with reading, research, and essay-writing! For two years, I supplied youth-oriented educational columns to Highlights Magazine. Thanks to my background, I have the skills to help you or your student gather, synthesize, and organize information for both long- and short-form writing projects. Additionally, I have four years of experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in preparation for the New York State Common Core ELA exam. Having worked with students in both classroom and one-on-one settings, I know just how important it is to tailor a lesson to each student's unique needs and abilities. My friendly, supportive approach takes all the terror out of test prep. I love helping students grow and build up confidence!
