I'm a friendly, experienced tutor with 5+ years experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school students through private tutoring and various tutoring organizations/programs. I specialize in Computer Science, Statistics, and Math subjects (including intro competition math / AMC), but am also experienced in college prep, college essays, and SAT reading/writing. I strive to teach more than just getting the final answer. My teaching philosophy focuses on problem solving and teaching students the ability to think about a problem and come to a solution independently. During the day, I work full-time at a quant hedge fund exploring the nuances of statistics, computer science, and the markets.
