Education

I am in my second year at Duke University, majoring in Mathematics with minors in Statistics and Economics. My overall GPA is 3.676 out of 4.000, and I have taken courses including introductory computer science, linear algebra, multivariable calculus, probability, and machine learning. Experience

I have been tutoring in various capacities for several years, both independently and through school programs. I ran a "SAT crash course" in high school for interested students. My SAT combined score was 1590 out of 1600, with a Reading score of 800 and a Math score of 790. I received an 800 on the US History subject test, and a 760 on the Math 2 subject test. I received 5's on the AP US History and AP English Language and Composition exams. I received scores of A*, A*, A and A on the A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics and Psychology exams. I am a National Merit Commended Scholar and I was nominated for the Presidential Scholars Program in 2017. I enjoy teaching, and I feel I am effective in finding creative was to make tutoring fun!

In my free time, I like to go on walks with my beloved puppy, Daisy (Daisy also tutors, mainly for the MDOG). I also enjoy baking, watching Numberphile videos on youtube, and volunteering in my community. I recently went on a volunteer trip to Beaufort, NC to do hurricane clean-up, which I found very rewarding.
