I have much experience tutoring and being a history major helps. In my work as a tutor, I've helped with English language arts, mathematics, and essential subjects such as reading, writing, grammar, algebra, and college essays. Fluent in the French language, I enjoy instructing and helping people with the grammar and also the literature. I can teach useful tricks as well. No matter what subject I am teaching or tutoring in, my goal is to ensure my tutees can move forward past their weaknesses. If I can foster a sense of mastery in what we're working on, I feel like my mission is accomplished.As a tutor, I also do SSAT, HSPT, ISEE, and SSHSAT test prep, showing the ins and outs of studying for and scoring well on standardized tests. From my experience, I think a student who is empowered is a happier person. I attended the University of Bucharest and now reside in South Ozone Park, New York. Tutoring allows me to use my experience to provide others with a distinct advantage and that makes me feel good. When I am not working, I take pleasure in enjoying interests such as seeing movies and playing soccer and chess.
