I have experience peer tutoring for College Biology, Calculus, the Living Environment Regents, as well as editing and structuring essays. I can work with students with different backgrounds and abilities without judgement and can cater to special needs. I enjoy teaching and have learned that explanation has been a great study tool to solidify my own knowledge, and improve my teaching strategies for other students. I am passionate about biology and comfortable teaching a wide range of topics in the subject. I am comfortable tutoring in math starting with Algebra and through Calculus. I have also taken a number of upper division courses in Philosophy, History and English and would love to work with students who need help finding strategies to improve analyzing text and structuring essays.

Hobbies
I have been a dancer for about eight years in various styles from Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary and Hip Hop and continue to take dance classes in my free time and when offered by the University. I have also developed some programming skills, through some course work as well as on my own time, in Java, Javascript, Python and R. As a hobby I like playing around with keyboard and ukelele.
