Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in drama from New York University, concentrating on musical theater. I attended an advanced high school, which helped me become a hard-working and goal oriented person. I'm outgoing and easy to get along with, so acting was natural for me, and I feel that these skills are useful in tutoring as well. I'm comfortable working with young people of all ages, and I have experience assisting students as a tutor and in theater. I've taught at drama camps for middle school students as well as students with special needs, and I currently lead groups of students around New York and share information about the city's history. I have always had a love for education, and I'm excited to share what I know with others about English, writing, grammar, algebra, calculus, trigonometry, geometry, middle school math, pre-calculus, music theory, and test preparation. In my spare time, I enjoy theater, dance, music, swimming, hiking, nature walks, cooking, nutrition, science fiction and fantasy, and travel.
