Experience

As a child my parents often told me that I should be an accountant someday. I kept my own balance sheet for my piggy bank, so this career path seemed obvious. To be a good accountant, someone must have logical and analytical skills as well as a focus on the details. When someone has these along with the drive to learn and strong communication skills, they are on their way to becoming a successful accountant. I believe I possess these qualities, but I always stay persistent and picking up skills that will assist me in my career. I've always performed well in science and math courses as a student, and I've been studying business, economics, and math. As a tutor, I can assist students with elementary and middle school math, algebra one and two, accounting, geometry, Spanish, public speaking, business, history, and Regents and other test preparation. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baseball, football, and basketball.
