I think learning something new is incredibly satisfying, and one of my main priorities as a tutor is to help students realize this. I like to get to know my students so I know who they are, what they know, their experiences, how they learn, and what their goals are so I can customize my approach while staying flexible to adapt as needed. I believe that if I show my enthusiasm for learning and passion for a subject, students will be motivated to learn as well. I have a lot of experience tutoring students in English, math, and test preparation. Subjects I'm comfortable tutoring include English, grammar, literature, writing, reading, essays, algebra, ACT prep, PSAT prep, Regents prep, SAT prep, ISEE prep, and other similar disciplines. In my spare time, I like to run, exercise, read, listen to podcasts, write, volunteer, explore new places, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
