Private tutor in New York, NY
American University - Bachelors, Biochemistry , New York University - Masters, Molecular Biology
I'm currently a professional homemaker, and in my free time, I've been working as a tutor to help students reach their academic goals and prepare for success later in life. While I have experience tutoring a number of subjects, my areas of expertise are related to science. My background is in biology, and I'm well versed in biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics. I also enjoy helping students improve their understanding of chemistry, math, and history. I believe that education is one of the most effective ways to empower someone and make a positive difference in their life. I love tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to get to know my students on a personal level. Building rapport is one of the best ways to help your students get ahead. This is because once you learn more about your pupils, you then get a greater understanding of their strengths and weaknesses, which you can use to help you come up with more effective lessons. I'm excited to help students learn more about science, in addition to reading, writing, and standardized test prep. When I'm not spending my time working with students on a one-to-one basis, I like to exercise and stay active. My hobbies include hiking, cooking, and exercising.
