Private tutor in New York, NY
University of Pennsylvania - Bachelors, Economics and Biological Basis of Behavior
I'm attending the University of Pennsylvania, where I studied economics and neuroscience. I've been tutoring ever since I was an elementary school student, informally assisting peers with math and other subjects. Over the years, I've had opportunities to help students with elementary school math, essay writing at the college level, ACT preparation, and more. I like to meet students were they are and then build up their skills to help them achieve their goals. I relate concepts to things that students enjoy to keep them engaged. I also like to build rapport with students, and I genuinely care about who they are and what they want to do with their lives. I'm also very patient person, and I don't mind going over subjects again and again until students understand, trying different approaches to see what works best. When I'm not tutoring or studying, I enjoy watching television, reading, listening to music, scuba diving, soccer, baking, and travel.
