Experience
I'm a tutor who is based out of New York City, where I enjoy playing music, reading, and running when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in psychology from Yale University, where I also concentrated in neuroscience and music. I also have my master's degree in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience, which I completed at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York. For the last two years, I've been working as an adjunct professors at the City College of New York, where I teach statistics and introductory neuroscience. It's here where I developed both a passion for teaching and my own teaching style. In my role as a teacher, I've learned the importance of communicating at an individualized level. All of my classes have performed above average, so I know that my instruction style works. I seek to build a good rapport with my students, and then create a fun and engaging learning environment that keeps them interested in the lesson. I firmly believe that every student has the ability to succeed in whatever subject they put their mind to. As a tutor, I believe it's my role to give my students the guidance they need to unlock their full potential.
