I have a BA in Classical Civilization with minors in English and American Literature and Biology from New York University. I went on to a career in the academic publishing field, where I proofread and evaluated manuscripts, and I am now the Math Editor at an international scholastic publishing house. I feel students who are truly successful have educators who mentor, inspire them, and help them to develop a love of learning, rather than simply teach to them lessons for a class. I always want my pupils to be comfortable asking questions or asking me to explain something in a different manner, so I keep our sessions relaxed and comfortable.
