I graduated with my bachelor's in Earth and space science for education from Stony Brook University. Throughout my educational career, my teachers served as a constant source of inspiration and enrichment. They made learning fun, building my skills and preparing my mind for future academic growth. I want to have the same impact on others that my teachers had on me. Using the knowledge I've gained, I am fully capable of tutoring students of all ages and learning styles. I strive to connect the material to the student's personal interests. I can approach the same concept in a variety of different ways, allowing me to ensure that my student has a full understanding of it. My top math subjects to tutor include environmental science, calculus at any level, and biology. I work to keep the session focused on achieving my student's goals, whether they need to review early calculus concepts or refresh their understanding of elementary-level science topics. As a tutor, I believe it is important to be patient and encouraging to my students. I work at their natural learning rate, providing numerous opportunities to succeed and build confidence. Outside of tutoring, I love exploring New York City's many restaurants, museums, and galleries.
