I'm a tutor that is based out of New York City, where I enjoy playing the guitar, playing the flute, and traveling when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I'm currently a student at Hunter College, where I'm pursuing my degree in nursing. I'm passionate about math and am able to provide students with lessons in a variety of math topics. I'm also able to help students with social studies, geometry, and world history. At school, I'm currently working as a tutor for algebra 1 and 2 students at the high school and college levels. I strive to make all of my lessons fun and engaging, to help my students stay focused and interested in completing their lesson. I strive to instill the passion that I have for math in each of my students. If I've done my job correctly, then my students will go on to not only succeed in the course they came to me for help with, but also in their future academic endeavors. I create individualized lesson plans that help my students get the targeted practice they need to really make strides in their problem areas.
