Experience
As a student myself, I noticed that I did my best when my teachers were engaging and made an effort to create lessons and that were fun and relatable to students. I strive to meet these goals with everyone I tutor. I believe that management skills and learning about the best ways to solve problems are important, but not something that everyone knows about. Therefore, I try to teach these things to my students, no matter what type of subject we're learning together. I've worked with both Columbia University and New York City Urban Debate League. I'm presently in my final year of college at Columbia University. I'm earning my degree in Philosophy and Neuroscience. Some of the many subjects I help students in are Calculus 1, SHSAT, Calculus 2, SSAT- Upper Level, Calculus 3, TACHS, Pre-Calculus, Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills, ACT, Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior, SAT, SSAT, Writing, ISEE, Essay Editing, English Grammar and Syntax, Graduate Test Prep, College Essays, SAT Math, ACT Science, ACT Reading, ACT Writing, Public Speaking, SAT Reading, SAT Mathematics, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, Math, English, Test Prep, Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems, Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems. Outside of studies, I love anything to do with music and high fashion. I'm interested in politics and love creative writing.
