University of Rochester - Bachelors, Honors Financial Economics, Statistics
I recently graduated from the University of Rochester. From there, I received an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Economics and Statistics, along with a Chemistry minor. While attending the university, I had the opportunity to enroll in a variety of different classes, which spanned from chemistry and math to finance and even dance and art. I attribute my success during my college career and now at my current work to my curiosity. That curiosity gave way to learning and learning leads to knowledge. Knowledge is truly the key to success. As a tutor, I strive to help my students obtain not only the grades they desire, but I also try to help them find real-life application for what they are studying. I have found it very true that intrinsically motivated students excel on exams and also gain a higher quality of overall education. I try my best to make the topic as interesting as possible for my students so that they too can find their curiosity. I was a TA for three years at my university. I assisted in an organic chemistry class and feel very confident in my skills to help my students achieve a higher letter grade than they are currently receiving. This does not come without work on the student's part but with the combination of my help and their hard work, I believe we can achieve success together.
