Experience
Teaching is passion and purpose, it is so much more than a just a practice. When you can convey knowledge in a way that makes the mundane come to life, then you can realize the potential in your studies. It will also allow for personal improvement and concrete gains which I as a tutor always emphasize. From past experiences, I know that essays and tests require a lot of practice and an understanding of the language used in testing procedures so that the student knows what will work and what will not work. I worked hard on my studies and was able to excel on my own standardized tests. This resulted in me being able to hold a fellowship at a university. I have taught college-level composition courses. I facilitated the writing of the syllabus and designed the assignments. I was in charge of leading review, composing exams, and giving feedback on papers. I also dedicated weekly time to work one-on-one with my student, so that we could overcome their specific difficulties and foster their unique talents. I try to be extremely flexible when scheduling sessions, and I am available both online or for in person sessions. I take my commitment to my students very seriously, and I can not wait to get started working together.
