I'm a tutor who is based out of New York City, where I enjoy reading, writing, and traveling when I'm not in the classroom working with my students. I have a solid educational background, which included studying English and classics at the University of Richmond, as well as English at the graduate level at New York University. These experiences have given me a deep and nuanced understanding of the fields of English and history, which I'm extremely passionate about sharing with others. My first experience with tutoring began as a volunteer experience at the University of Richmond, where I worked with students aged six to ten. I loved this experience, and continued working as a tutor with pre-K students through the Jumpstart program. Now, I have over six years of experience working as a tutor in a variety of fields. I absolutely love the feeling I get when I see the student I'm working with finally start to grasp a challenging subject.
