Hi! My name is Claire Brooks and I am passionate about teaching and instilling a love of writing and critical reading skills. I have experience with tutoring middle school, high school, college and adults. I also enjoy teaching students who’s second language is English and I spent 3 months teach English at an orphanage in China before I went to college at NYU. I try to foster a comfortable enviornment that encourages excellence, creativity, and intellectual curiosity. I am a professional creative producer and screenwriter and I have over a decade of experience in marketing and advertising. I have worked with leading brands such as Nike, Google, Facebook, Universal Studios, Samsung and Target. My first job in entertainment / media was working on the animated films The Lorax and Despicable Me 2.
