Private tutor in New York, NY
George Washington University - Current Undergrad, International affairs
I am a current student of George Washington University. I'm studying international relations with an emphasis in Africa. I was born on the Ivory Coast, where they speak French. While there, I earned a degree in literature and a deep passion for learning more about the French language. I spent the past few years as a corps member of JumpStart, a preschool educational program. I spent two years as a nanny and French tutor of a French-speaking middle schooler. I am capable of tutoring students for any goal, whether they want to learn enough conversational French to enjoy a trip to Paris or they need to improve their skills to pass French class. I can work with students of any skill level, beginners to advanced. As a private tutor, I identify the student's learning style and aptitude-level to develop a solid learning plan that directs them to success. Mastering a language can be challenging and frustrating, especially French with all its rules. I work hard to make learning the language immersive using a variety of learning methods. Outside of tutoring, I am deeply passionate about literature. I love to read in French and English, no matter the genre. I also love music.
