I am an avid learner and a graduate of New York University Drama. My main goal when I work with my students is to help them develop a love for the information that they are studying and to help them transform that excitement into topics and conversations that will help build their academic success. I enjoy helping people sort through the material that they are learning and help them apply it to the real world. While passion is important, it needs to be subsidized with study skills and different learning techniques. Engagement is an important key to understanding the material, but you also need to have organization and different tools to help you understand that material and retain it. My specialties lie in English, psychology, writing, reading, and history, and I have experiences working with students of different ages from 10 years through 18 years. I am a freelance artist and a theater director. I enjoy listening to podcasts, playing video games, reading, and watching reality TV. I also really enjoy traveling, and I think it is one of the most amazing things that I could have ever chosen to do for myself. I had the opportunity to complete a solo backpack trip around Europe and have also been to China, India, Central America, and Australia.
