Experience
I came to the United States in 2011 from Togo with no English background. I learned to speak English by the end of that first summer and started college classes. My majors were Economics and Mathematics. While I was in college, I tutored general statistics and mathematics. My tutoring career started a year after I arrived in the U.S. I helped students at Northwest Missouri State University. From there, I transferred to tutoring in the math lab and I loved it. I discovered my love of teaching through these tutoring experiences. I can help students in the Kansas City area in-person or I can also tutor online. I enjoy teaching my students how fun math can be and that nothing is impossible. I believe my life experience shows this theory. I can help with math, general statistics, and French. I will make math as fun for you as possible and I will use multiple methods to teach all the material in each subject. I am looking forward to meeting new people and sharing my passion for knowledge with them. When I am not tutoring or teaching, you can find me playing and watching sports of all kinds.
