I worked as a substitute teacher in a Salvation Army Day care center in Brooklyn,New York where I assisted children ages 3-5 with basic skills,assisted lead teacher with daily activities,conducted basic skills activities both educational and physical and encouraged children to maintain a healthy diet.I also have experience tutoring at the GAINS afterschool program and Champion Learning Center assisting students with mathematics,assisting students with reading comprehension,and helping students to improve writing skills. I enjoy helping students enhance their minds by allowing them to think for themselves with a little bit of assistance. My strengths are writing and general math.
