Education
I am a native Hebrew speaker born and raised on the beaches of Tel-Aviv. I served four years in the IDF as a combat soldier and was an active member of the second Lebanon war and Gaza operations. I have a Bachelor in Behavioral Science from the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, and I am a current student at Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work (help me pay my tuition :), interning at a high-school for Jewish individuals with developmental disabilities.
Experience
I love the Hebrew language and enjoying teaching. I have taught Hebrew for the past three years at different programs in Brooklyn: Kane Street Synagogue, Fig Tree, School for Creative Judaism and Luria Academy. What I love about teaching Hebrew is the cultural background behind the language. Learning Hebrew is learning a very unique language and if you have chosen to do so, I will be happy to guide you on your journey. What makes me an outstanding Hebrew teacher is my positivity and teaching tools; workbooks, reading books, games and much more. Moreover, I have been teaching Hebrew for the past few years and been having good results with my students. My background is mostly working with elementary grade student but I am flexible and believe I can teach any individual, no matter his or her age.
