Junior Journalism and Economics Major at New York University

Experience

I am Junior at NYU, currently majoring in Economics and Journalism. Though I have no professional past experience in tutoring, I have taught my nieces and nephews and even classmates on several occasions and discovered my enthusiasm for it. I was an active member of the English debating society in high school and also on the editorial board for the school magazine called "the Wall." I have participated in various essay writing competitions and debates held on international, national and state levels and won prizes for standing 1st occasionally. I have conducted a workshop in the past with the students of 8th and 9th grade on writing, communication skills and etiquette. I would like to believe the effort was a success and thus I am here to further my passion for teaching new learners.
