I Currently work as a History Tutor at Epiphany Manhattan Academy. I also have 6 years of recent experience teaching music to elementary and middle school children. My teaching approach encourages students to think independently and develop tools to learn on their own. I strive to make learning fun by connecting learning to areas that students, especially children, can engage in (for example: build Spanish vocabulary by talking about sports, music , food etc). I work to know each student's individual needs, strengths, weaknesses and learning style.
