Education
I graduated in Philosophy at the University of Barcelona. I also have a master’s degree at the University of Barcelona in "Contemporary thought and classical studies", having obtained the best grade for my dissertation "The idea of political equality and the Antigone". I am currently working on my PhD at the University of Barcelona, mostly following research lines initiated with the master’s. I'm a native bilingual Spanish and Basque speaker. I have spent a lot of time in the US having acquired advanced and fluent English skills. I also speak and read French, as I finished my graduation at the Université Sorbonne/Paris-IV in Paris. I have basic knowledge of German, which I'm studying. I have basic skills in ancient Greek, which I'm also studying. My current research lines are the classical and archaic Greece and the contemporary political philosophy (post-structuralism, critical theory, ethics, etc.). I can also teach the history of philosophy (Greek and Roman ages, medieval philosophy, and both modern and contemporary periods). I'm also interested in the philosophy of language. Currently working on my PhD at the University of Barcelona, mostly following research lines initiated with the Masters.
Experience
I enjoy teaching. I believe that it is important for the student to understand the meaning of the basic terms and concepts so he can slowly but firmly progress from there. It is crucial for me to provide the methodological and conceptual tools to read the texts and understand the arguments. I like working on the student's current or practical needs (paper, essays, exams) in order for the classes to be effective. I also like teaching the philosophical significance of the problems faced in the texts (historical, moral or political).

Hobbies
I've been a professional musician for the past 15 years and I've toured around the world. I still make my living as a musician. Philosophy is my other passion though and I am currently developing my academic career. I'm hard working as a student, as I think that philosophy is not an easy subject. It is highly rewarding though, and it helps you develop a way of reading problems (both theoretical and practical) in a critical way and in many fields. I'm a strong defender of its social, academical and personal value.
