Education

I am a graduate of Tufts University with a BA summa cum laude in biology and economics. I graduated from the University of Connecticut dental school and am currently a resident in training in the New York Presbyterian Hospital. I am in an integrated MD training program and am studying to earn a second doctorate degree during while concurrently working as a surgical resident. Experience

I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, including 8 years at a boutique test preparation company where I have enjoyed working with students to maximize academic success. I have tutored over one hundred private clients, as well as several group classes. In my time tutoring, I have developed a teaching style that stresses clarity, transparency, and accessibility through the use of techniques catered to an individual student’s method of processing and applying information. My method helps students to identify with and comprehend core testing concepts, rather than rely on memorization which may fail them at exam time. This presentation of testing materials energizes my students and motivates them to maintain the dedication to surpass their existing goals. Communication between student, parent, and teacher is an integral part of the test prep process, and I welcome my clients to contact me at any time via phone or email if I can be of any assistance with assignments, test planning, or academic advice.
