I'm a very upfront tutor; who wants to have clear goals and deadlines. 99% of tutors do not provide parents with goals for their children to reach. They are interested in fast money with minimal effort. Most tutoring sessions end with the child wasting time during the lesson and the tutor leaving WITHOUT doing ANY teaching. You pretty much pay for your child to have a playmate. Unlike them, I pride myself on creating my own syllabus. I created everything from deadlines to reading materials to even finding specific chapters. My college professors were so impressed at my ability to create classes that they used my syllabus to teach future students. I promise you that the first day we will all sit down and establish goals that we are going to work on and no lesson will be wasted.
