Private tutor in New York, NY
MS Computer Science; Fordham University, 4.0 GPA BS Mathematics; Fordham University, 3.95 GPA
I studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the undergraduate and graduate levels and I'm a Professor of Computer Science at Fordham University. I find tutoring extremely rewarding and strive to make each lesson as enjoyable and fruitful as possible. I have tutored students in math, science, and logic courses for over 12 years. I've tutored students in middle school all the way up to adults preparing to take standardized exams to go back to school. I really enjoy taking complex ideas and communicating them in simple, easy-to-understand terms. Past students of mine have said their favorite part about learning with me was my endless ability to find more and more ways to explain difficult concepts. On top of this, I really enjoy one-on-one interactions with students; I find it extremely important to constantly encourage students and to believe in their potential. I'm happy to travel to the student almost anywhere in New York City or to meet up in a mutually beneficial location such as a cafe or library. I also tutor online through Skype. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email or give me a call/text at 9 1 7 9 6 0 2 0 8 2. I'm looking forward to learning with you. I really enjoy spending time outdoors and playing recreational sports. I swim and do yoga regularly and just started surfing this summer. I spend a lot of time reading, learning, and helping others as much as I can, and I'm currently learning woodworking!
