I have lived in China for more than 20 years and 7 years in Shanghai and currently I'm a graduate student . I was trained systematically for 3 months to be a successful mandarin teacher in China and I'm an international registered Senior Mandarin Tutor at IPA (International Profession Certification Association). Also, I've taught foreigners at Mandarin Daily School in Shanghai for one month and been a private tutor in NYC for more than a year. I emphasis interaction with students during my private course to make students speak and use the language as much as possible. I also use lots of handy materials to help student to have an effective and enjoyable learning experience. You can not only improve your Chinese a lot (even without any basis), extend your knowledge of Chinese cultures and society (advantage for job seeking) but also have a lot of fun (making friends with Chinese people). For beginners, you'll start from the basic pronunciation, sentence structures to basic communication with native speakers, different daily topics are covered. A lot of practice is required. For intermediate levels, you'll improve your pronunciation, use more complex and native sentences, accumulate extensive vocabulary and learn more about Chinese cultures (e.g literature, martial arts etc.). Specific filed vocabulary is included according to your need.
