Education
I am a junior majoring in sociology and psychology at New York University. I do, however, have a strong background in the natural sciences as I initially began university with the intention of studying in neural science. Interests change and develop! Through tutoring, I hope to encourage students to take interest in various subjects of study and discover their passions.
Experience
I have tutored for two years in math, English, and various other subjects such as chemistry and test prep. I love tutoring because I am able to support students outside of the classroom and engage them on a personal level. I try to keep my rates as low as possible in order to offer affordable tutoring for all students. Other interactive positions I have held include teaching a cooking class for middle school youth, working as an editorial intern with a publishing company, and interning in the adult education department of a nonprofit organization.
