Hi there, My name is Lauren and I am a Masters and Bachelors graduate from Cornell University with my degrees in Environmental Engineering. I am passionate and enthusiastic and would love to help your child succeed in any subject. I love Math and have performed well in all areas. I scored above 700 on all math sections of the SAT. In high school, I tutored younger students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. My math courses have included Pre-Alegbra, Alegbra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB (high school), College Level: Calculus for Engineers, Multi-variable Calculus for Engineers, Differential equations and Linear Algebra. I also love working with kids and have much experience, so I would love to tutor! I also have a teaching position at school where I run a 1 credit workshop for freshman students in which I teach the material they are learning in class and then prepare a worksheet for students. I have also mentored young students at Cornell for 4 years. ACT, SAT (took both, scored highly on both) ACT composite: 31, ACT math: 34 SAT math: 740, SAT MATH I/II: 720 I have tutored over 20 students and hundreds of hours for StudyPoint and Academic Journeys (Milburn, NJ). I have worked with students in all math related subjects and tests with a variety of learning capabilities and challenges. I am excited to help your child exceed. Your child does not need any testing materials before tutoring, as I am equipped with books and practice problems. I form a program custom to your child's need and progress. We begin with a practice test and develop a program, targeting specific subjects and areas that your child can improve in.
