John E.

Private tutor in New York, NY

Education

Georgia Tech, B.S. in Physics. Cornell University, M.S. in Physics. Columbia University, M.S. in Data Science.

Experience

I have privately tutored mathematics and physics for over 10 years, both while I was an undergraduate and graduate student, and also as a full time worker. Several students that I have worked with have received an "AP student of the year" award in both calculus and physics. My tutoring experience includes SAT/ACT/GRE math in addition to high school and college level courses in all areas of mathematics and physics, from introductory levels and AP courses, to more advanced classes. This material can be challenging for students approaching it for the first time, but I believe that I have been successful at making it accessible as well as interesting for the students that I have worked with.
