Experience

Sitting down with someone and figuring out what they already know and what they need to learn, as well as what their interests are is the most important part of tutoring. I believe that to effectively teach someone, you must know them and create a lesson plan that is going to enhance the skills they already have. I also believe in using multiple methods of teaching, because learning is not a uniform experience. Learning should be fun and I intend to make it that way. I love tutoring in music, public speaking, English, and more. I have my bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Drama and I also minored in music. My professional experiences include working as a tutor, music and drama teacher, and being an editor for novelists. I believe that my academic and professional background have given me a lot of valuable skills that are worth passing on to my students. I love the topics that I tutor in and want my pupils to share that love. I am a lucky to be able to share my passion for these subjects with so many people. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy composing, writing, and acting. I can't wait to meet you and/or your student and share my love of learning.
