My name is Ashley. I attended Coe College. My view of tutoring is that I have a responsibility that goes beyond helping them achieve their academic goals. I want them to experience and see learning as a process that is incredibly powerful, seemingly magical, and wonderfully fun. I work in book publishing, which has helped me deepen and strengthen my tutoring approach. I have an even stronger sense of how to create the right kind of learning environment to aid their writing skills and reading comprehension. I have a deep respect for the written word, am exceptionally well read, and can help a student develop a love for reading. Among the subjects I can tutor are Essay Editing, Literature, College Essays, European History, Public Speaking, English, Social Studies, and AP (United States History, English Language and Composition, and English Literature and Composition). I live in New York City. I enjoy yoga, etheric practices, and reading.
