Experience
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology at Boston College, where I spent a semester studying abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, and traveling to Virginia to work with Habitat for Humanity. After completing my undergrad degree, I moved to New York to attend Columbia University, where I'm currently working to complete my graduate degree in public health. I began tutoring math, Latin, and English in high school as part of the National Honor Society. Additionally, I spent time tutoring science and math in several of the low-income communities surrounding Cape Town, and I volunteered to assist in GED tutoring sessions at a local drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. I tutor students in numerous subjects, including math, elementary math, algebra I, calculus I, statistics, microstatistics, AP Statistics, graduate-level statistics, science, life sciences, general biology, microbiology, cell biology, molecular biology, English, writing, public health, and medicine. Additionally, I offer test prep services to students who are preparing to take their GED, ACT, SAT, or GRE. In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, listening to music, and traveling.
