Education

Harvard University - BA, History

Experience

My favorite academic subjects are history, biology, and Spanish as well as the SAT. I teach chess as well, even if that's more like a hobby. Tutoring enables me to embody what my greatest strength is, which is I'm not a textbook. I make material interesting and relatable, while raising discussions out of difficulties. Although I am not fan of memorizing, I can make anything into stories one can remember and which are hard to forget. I also work to emulate the tutors I enjoyed working with myself. I am always as happy with my results as my clients, or their parents, are.I have a Bachelor of Arts in History from Harvard College. During my time in Costa Rica, my intention was to learn about becoming a doctor, but the end result was perfecting my Spanish. Creative writing and reading are hobbies I enjoy in my free time, as is perfecting a vinegar-infused poached egg. I also act, do improv comedy, and run when not working.
